Don’t we sometimes sound like The Three Bears? It’s too hot, it’s too cold, is it ever ‘just right’. Wedid have an unusually warm fall and I think all are glad to be enjoying these more seasonaltemperatures. But I’ll remind you about February that you asked for cooler temps!!! The good news is that this is great stitching weather so get your winter projects organized and supplied for some cold, stay at home, days.
In this month’s issue we are addressing you as shopowners, in an effort to help you make the shopping experience for your customers the best it can possibly be. I think sometimes you get wrapped up in the day to day running of the business and forget the personal and human factors. I hope you can find some helpful hints from my article.
Mollie has created a beautiful stocking for us using nothing more than scraps and bits, and what a wonderful quick November project. It is an exquisite rendition.
Remember we combine our November and December issues, just as we do our June and July issues, so we will not be back until January. But be on the lookout, as I promised you a new lace set. And we will have it featured in the January Bear in Mind. How exciting is that, and what a wonderful Christmas gift! A few lucky ones will already have had delivery as they preordered it at the
Birmingham Market!!!! And we also have some other new surprises for your Easter sewing.
And speaking of the Birmingham Market sadly there will not be one in January this year. It has been poorly attended in the winter, and also conflicts with Sewing at the Beach School for many vendors. So you need to mark your calendars NOW for September to attend the market in Birmingham.
As the Season of Gratitude and Blessings nears, we here at Bear Threads, wish to thank all our customers for your continued loyalty. We appreciate each and every one of you and wish youthe Merriest of Christmas’s and a Happy andHealthy New Year.
