If one could bottle heat (and not Tabasco!) we would have lots of toasty stitchers in January! But since that is not an option, I suppose we will have to settle for the fireplace when winter returns. In the meantime I am working diligently on my summer’s stitch list, and have my projects planned for August vacation. (I will not mention that I am headed to Iceland and Greenland where it will be freezing!)
WOW! What an issue we have this month. Louise Hedrick is back with those absolutely gorgeous antique Jumeau dolls – I continue to be amazed with their detail, but mostly with how so many survived! And we welcome Sandra Riley who has such a beautiful shop in Birmingham, Alabama. She has such a passion for the preservation of classic children’s wear; hence her decision to buy the pattern companies Maggie’s Classics and Chery Williams Patterns. Keep up the good work, Sandra and thanks for your perseverance. Annabelle and Ping are enjoying a final seaside fling and they are excited to share their fun with you.
