From The Editor – I certainly hope many of you were able to find some air conditioned space to enjoy sewing. I am from Atlanta (yes, a real native!) but I cannot remember a summer with nearly 50 days straight of temperatures in the mid 90s. Now our home is in the North Georgia Mountains, and we find it quite pleasant to have coffee on the porch in the early morning hours. Alas, let us not complain, as in 6 months we will be cozying up to the fireplace looking for some warmth.
Schools will soon be back in session and thoughts will return to fall and Holiday sewing. I have included in this newsletter some Swiss trims that I thought might spark some grand ideas for those special Holiday garments. Remember all Swiss embroideries are 40% off and the 5 inch plus width ones are 50% off. How can you miss on this deal?
Also, I have photographed the remaining grosgrain Tartan ribbons. These are very stunning on solid white – how about a heavy pique? – Or navy or black fabric. A fancy collar, the tartan sash, and you are good to go.
The Tartans are available in McLeod, Red Frazier, McKenzie, McGregor and Black Watch. Sorry, not all widths in all patterns. Call for more information.
Finally, as many of you have found the E-Blasts sent over the winter and spring confusing, I have combined all the sale flyers into one document – What a novel idea!!!!! SO! Now you have it in printable form for your eyes only!
Enjoy the remainder of the summer and as always,
